My background

I am an organization consultant with additional training in business management, group relations and psychology. I have twenty years experience of strategic leadership and change management in private and public sectors and fifteen years experience of working with blue chip, multi national clients in management positions.
My tried and tested approach to indivdiual coaching is based on integrating several years of organisational consultancy and psychological therapy. When applied in the work place, this approach can benefit the individual as well as the organization; understanding issues such as Board Room dynamics, Directors of small family run businesses prepare for change, Mergers, stategic alignment betweent the post and the post holder.

Coaching can be sought for a variety of reasons;to achieve personal goals, such as positioning for promotion or improving personal skills. To implement or adjust to a change in the way the organization works or is structured. To address problems at work, such as difficulties with individual or team relationships, stress or impaired job satisfaction. For personal developmental aims, such as mobilizing one's own capacities more fully or to position oneself for promotion.

Psychological Coaching

Psychological coaching pays close attention to the dynamics of the organization, the role and the behaviour of the individual. It helps the client develop a systematic perspective on their issues or problems rather than seeing them merely as personal concerns. This clarity helps them to become proactive in solving their own problems and encourages them to forge new understanding in order to make choices based on greater clarity about themselves, their role and environmental context.

If you are interested in finding out more, contact me to arrange an exploratory meeting with no commitment from either party. We will explore the coaching process and possible objectives. If we agree to proceed, it is usual to contract for four sessions with a review, after which we may continue to work together for as long as appropriate, often up to ten sessions.
