Who can be helped by psychotherapy?

 

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy aims to help people experiencing a range of emotional difficulties including; anxiety, panic attacks and coping with stress, difficulty in making and sustaining satisfactory relationships, depression and feelings of chronic anger, problems associated with loss, bereavement or trauma including post traumatic stress, work and career attainment related issues addictions, self harm, eating disorders,feelings of emptiness, loneliness and isolation, issues around violence and abuse, sexual problems, physical symptoms for which there is no medical explanation, but which may be an expression of emotional pain
